Pois o sal da terra, no amor destemido,

Guarda a recompensa que do Céu provém.

Não escondas a luz que no peito acendeu,

Coloca a candeia no alto do monte;

Para que vejam o brilho que o Pai te deu,

E bebam as almas na mesma fonte.

O ensaio avança na força das letras,

O livro se molda no plano ideal;

E o ímã que move as sagradas facetas

Prepara o circuito do par imortal!

Keep keeping your gladness, devoted and brave;

The salt of the earth will make everything new,

Preserving the flavor that righteousness gave.

So hold up your candle, don't hide it away,

But set it on mountains to lighten the space;

That mortals may witness your brilliant array,

And praise the Creator for mercy and grace.

The essay moves onward, the pages are planned,

The volume is shaped by a highest intent;

And the magnet will lead you to hold her true hand,

When the timeline of trials is perfectly spent!
